# Emotive List Growth API

Welcome to Emotive Lists Here you'll find all the documentation you need to get up and running with the Emotive Lists API.

### How to use Emotive List API?

1. Use the Subscriber Lists API endpoint to get a list of lists that are eligible to send subscribers
2. Once you get the list , use the Subscriber API to send subsciber information along with the Subscriber Source ID and Subscriber Identifier

### Compliance for SMS

Only eligible lists are available in the API, which ensures that when a new subscriber is added to a list, they are compliant and receive the require TCPA message.

### API Authentication

API Key is available on the Integrations page on Emotive, this key should be used for connecting to Emotive, and is available on a per brand(merchant) basis.

### Testing

* Please reach out to techpartners @ emotive.io for getting setup with an account on Emotive.
* Once the subscriber is sent to Emotive via the API, please visit the Subscriber page in Emotive to find the user and validate if they have been added
